@markosaric I finally wrote it :) https://alexmuraro.me/#!/posts/2018-12-16-A-user-guide-to-working-with-me
After years on Linux, in 2013 I switched to Mac. Lately I wanted to get a new computer, I briefly considered getting a Linux but in the end got another Mac because... Every hour lost fiddling around with settings is... Just a lost hour :D
@nolan I use it all the time on mobile. Is it there on desktop too?
Mailchimp's rebrand to "more than just an email marketing service" works.
"Mailchimp tells me that 50 percent of its revenue now comes from e-commerce. In total, its customers sold over $22 billion worth of products in the first half of 2018 alone."
@fribbledom so cool
Radio Garden, Google Earth for radio streams. This is pretty neat:
“‘Cambridge Analytica and Facebook have the same business model,’ says Balkan. ‘If Cambridge Analytica can sway elections and referenda with a relatively small subset of Facebook’s data, imagine what Facebook can and does do with the full set.’”
@aral I really like Better, I switched to Safari because of it :)
@markosaric Thanks, I'm working on my little version of a manual to myself for my next workplace :)
@chmod777 Yes I read that, but to be honest, everything has a human cost, and I am sure the one payed by Rockstar's employees is much less than lots of other things we use, like this computer I'm typing on, or these clothes I'm wearing. Let's not go there, otherwise we get depressed.
@markosaric Hey I wanted to read again you post but it's been deleted, is that right? I wanted to read the original article
you linked to, do you still have it?

Italian 🇮🇹🍕 frontend developer based in Germany 🇩🇪🍺 with a passion for maintainable code and the open web. Admin of the webdev.network Mastodon instance.
This is the Mastodon for web development (mostly frontend) people that are sick of Twitter. All kind of web development discussions are welcome, but you can talk just about anything except nasty/evil stuff. I always recommend getting your own private Mastodon instance at masto.host as it makes total sense if you think about it. You can find a beginner's guide here: https://opensource.com/article/17/4/guide-to-mastodon and a nice video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W22msAw2zwI&t=5s
